August Monthly Update, Hot Tips & More!
Hey friends!
Happy August! The first thing I want to remind you of is our National Launch for all students and professionals to get you onto the platform, will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at 1pm EST/ 10am PST. We will be hosting this again to get everyone comfortable with the platform and we’re so excited! The registration link is made available to you and it’s going to be sent out through multiple emails.
Next thing that I want to share is an upcoming opportunity with HairCuttery Brands. It is a Student to Work position, so perfect for our beauty school students! We have partnered with HairCuttery over the past few months and they are doing some extraordinary things with their training programs and opportunities for upcoming stylists. If you haven’t already, please check out the national opportunities with HairCuttery. They have locations all across the country, and some really great ones in PA are hiring!
Finally, I want to share something that is newer to the Canvas ME platform and portfolios. We have the opportunity for you to share your online booking link into your portfolio. All you have to do is log in to your Canvas ME dashboard, click that pencil icon to edit and then go to online booking link. That’s where you can copy and paste your link from any sort of software that your school or salon uses! Now, you can have guests book through your Canvas ME portfolio! How awesome is that? As you continue in your career, you will find this 360 approach to marketing, as you can share your Canvas ME link AND booking link ANYWHERE! Make sure to utilize this new feature, as you are continuing to grow and celebrate your career!
